If you are having troubles to find a lover, you might be constantly making one mistake that makes your potential partner run away from you.

You might have heard a lot of advice on how to act, what to wear and what to do but mainly these are based only on personal experience.

1. Just be yourself. On the whole, this is not such bad advice but someone might take this too far. The right version of this advice should be ‘be the best version of yourself’.

2. Don’t pay for her drinks or dinner. Well, this is a situation that can develop in many different ways. For example, she might insist and pay for everything or she might expect from you to do it. However, if you ask to split the check for drinks or dinner, she might get a bad image about you. She might consider you a cheapskate and you might lose another opportunity to improve your image. Being a gentleman will never go out of fashion.

3. Just be nice. Of course, you need to be nice. But just being nice doesn’t really work on its own. You have to do more to impress someone than just act nice. Be charming, think of funny pick-up lines and make your date smile. If you are generally a nice person you have nothing to worry about. Just think of a few ways to amuse your date and you are good to go.

4. End of the date is time for a kiss. Well, first of all, it depends on how did the date went through. In case you got all the signals that you should make a move, do it. However, if you are not sure, try making some other types of physical contact first. For example, hold her hand or hug her. If you can see that she feels uncomfortable with it, don’t even try to kiss her because you will ruin the entire thing you had there.

5. Wait 3 days to text her. From all the worst advice around there, this might be somewhere at the top. Most of us are leading a really busy life and your date might not even notice you haven’t texted or called for 3 days. However, she might find somebody new if you act uninterested for a longer period. Act now and do your best to woo her.
